Blogging for all grade levels?

As you all know I am first grade teacher. I am looking for ways to incorporate blogs into my classroom. First grade reading, spelling, and writing could lead to a blog that is not able to be read.

Can you guys help me come up with ideas for using a blog in my classroom. (First graders are 6 turning 7)

I think we should make an effort to communicate more on the blog, since using it, and becoming familiar with how things work will help us gain experience. Blogs are very forgiving through edits!

Let's get this project under our belts and then consider more communication on the blog. Feel free to ask questions here or in the conferences, but let's see if we can travel over here more.

Surgery for Marty

Believe it or not guys, I am scheduled for eye surgery on Oct 21. It is an Air Force thing and I cannot change the date. I will try to get as much done as possible on our 21-27 Oct assignment before then and try to see well enough to contribute during the week.

Hey Marty, instead of my removing that duplicate, I thought I would tell you how, and the you will become familiar with a different aspect of the blog.

Go to "settings" tab, and the go to "permissions" and you should see your duplicate entries with the tab "remove" next to it.

Wow, imagine "blogging" for a grade, how fun, I know it's what our students must think. In my county, just got to get them to UNBLOCK the things where we can blog!
